Masterclass – How to Design, Implement and Evaluate the Perfect Assessment Centre Process
Assessment Centres (AC’s) have undergone a seismic shift in the past few years, especially with the move to virtual delivery. Organisations have been quick to embrace the change, but at the same time have needed to preserve the elements that mean that AC’s frequently emerge as the most significant predictor of job success.
Join us for a two-part deep dive workshop with Occupational Psychologist and former Chair of the Association for Business Psychology, Ben Williams, who will provide a personalised, small-group learning experience which will teach you:
Part One
- How to identify the psychological qualities and competencies that lead to job success
- How to plan for and design an Assessment Centre
- The way to choose the best AC exercises to provide you with relevant insights
- What considerations should be made when working in a virtual AC environment
Ben will listen to your AC challenges and provide tailored advice; sharing plenty of stories and case studies from his 22 years of working in the space. There will be the opportunity to network and to practice activities and receive feedback. By the end of the two sessions, you will have learned valuable information you can take back to your own organisations to supercharge your AC processes. Specifically, this will include:
- The major job analysis techniques used to design behavioural competencies
- How to create a set of behavioural competencies
- How to create an assessment matrix for an AC
- The definition and pros and cons of a range of different AC exercise types
- How to design any AC exercise (including administration instructions, candidate brief assessor guide and scoring sheets)
- Agenda for an assessor training course
- How to deliver AC feedback to candidates
- How to evaluate the success of an AC
We look forward to welcoming you onto the course!
