Resourcing Manager/Talent Acquisiton Specialist

Experience Nationwide Building Society – June 2001 to date Resourcing Manager – Mar 2019 – present Key Responsibilities • Own relationships with Senior Business stakeholders up to Leader of level, understanding strategies and operationalising workforce planning. • Set and execute a Resourcing Strategy in line with the overall Resourcing and HR Strategy, including perm, contractor, internal and SoW requirements. • Lead and manage a small team to ensure an outstanding delivery of process. • Undertaking of external analysis, benchmarking and horizon scanning in order to provide useful insight to the business area. • Lead, manage and develop multiple and complex attraction strategies in specialist sector for ongoing resourcing needs, individual vacancies and projects. • Work with the business area to influence brand recognition in own sector, ensuring appropriate tactical deployment of brand in sector and translation of brand into attraction strategy. • Maintain an up to date knowledge of employment law in relation to recruitment and selection and working knowledge and understanding of the practical application of the Resourcing governance and controls framework. Resourcing Consultant – Oct 2016 – Mar 2019 Key Responsibilities • Manage candidate relationships, building networks of candidates, delivering against Nationwide’s agenda to ensure we reflect our market place, and ensure we provide the best experience for all our candidates. • Advise and guide senior managers up to ExCo -1, and employees, on the application of Nationwide’s resourcing policy, and act as a point of contact. • Maintain up to date knowledge of competitor’s recruitment activity and provide insight into their attraction strategies. • Responsible for the accurate management of candidates via the in-house systems, coordinating candidate status and relevant communication whilst supporting assessment and short-listing activities within agreed timescales. • Ensure a seamless service is delivered to all candidates and hiring managers through the offer and on-boarding process with HR.
